Who We Are

12529572 Canada Inc ("Adeso", "we", "us", or "our") is an Ontario corporation that develops and operates the Adeso AI platform, available at adeso.ai. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and what rights you have under Canadian privacy law.

Our practices are designed to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

1. What We Collect

When you join our waitlist

When you sign up for the Adeso waitlist, we collect your email address and basic technical information such as your IP address and timestamps. We use this technical data for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. We do not ask for your name, mailing address, or other profile details to join the waitlist.

When you use the software

Once you're an Adeso subscriber, we may collect:

• Usage data — which features you use, error logs, and performance metrics. This helps us improve the product. We do not record the content of your AI conversations.
• Technical information — your browser type, operating system, and approximate location (derived from IP address), used for analytics and security.

Data you send to AI providers

Adeso uses a Bring Your Own API Keys (BYOAK) model. When you use an AI provider (such as Anthropic Claude or OpenAI), your prompts and responses are sent directly to that provider using your own API key. Adeso does not intercept, store, or process the content of those conversations.

2. Why We Collect It

We use your information to:

• Fulfill the service — send waitlist updates, launch notifications, and product communications
• Operate the software — provide your subscription, support your account, and keep the platform running
• Improve the product — use aggregated, anonymized usage data to understand what works and fix what doesn't
• Comply with the law — meet our legal obligations as a Canadian corporation

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Marketing Emails and CASL Compliance

We only send marketing emails to people who have expressly opted in (e.g., by joining the waitlist or checking a consent box).

Every marketing email we send will include:

• A clear sender identification
• A working unsubscribe link

If you unsubscribe, we'll stop sending marketing emails within 10 business days, as required by CASL. Transactional emails (account notices, service updates) may still be sent while you're a subscriber.

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

6. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent at any time (this may limit access to certain features)
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada

7. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards (TLS encryption, access controls, secure hosting) to protect your personal information. No system is 100% secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.

8. Children

Adeso is not intended for anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and notify you by email where appropriate. Continued use of the service after a change means you've accepted the updated policy.
